  • Who We Are

NIC Centre of Excellence on Microservices will serve as a central resource for organization-wide adoption of microservices with Agile and DevOps practices. The CoE will provide best practices, handholding, and support on microservices, containerization, design patterns, and DevSecOps tools. The CoE will collaborate with global experts to lead microservices initiatives from proof of concept to production, enabling faster delivery of scalable and reliable cloud-native systems.

At CEM Kochi, we are committed to promoting cutting-edge software development and deployment practices for implementing microservices architecture. CEM Kochi has established a dedicated DevOps and CI/CD Lab to support the development, deployment, and lifecycle management of microservices-based applications. The lab provides hands-on training on CI/CD pipelines, tools, and containerized images, serving as a reference platform for building scalable, cloud-native services across domains.

In addition, the DevOps and CI/CD Lab at CEM Kochi acts as a collaborative enablement hub for the NIC community, with a strong focus on ensuring high availability (HA), resilience, and reliability of e-Governance applications through standardized, resilient deployment practices. Thereby enabling best practices, reference architectures, and reusable templates, the lab helps NIC teams across states and domains to build and operate mission-critical e-Governance systems that can seamlessly handle peak loads, ensure business continuity, and deliver uninterrupted citizen services.
